My Sisterlocks

My Sisterlocks journey began March 2005. Back then, nobody in my area were familiar with Sisterlocks. I cut my hair very short when I had them installed and over the years I have cut them many times.  I went on to receive official Sisterlocks training on September 17, 18, and 19, 2005, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  The main reason I took the class was to learn how to retighten my hair.  I met that goal quickly at the end of training. My hair is real from the root to the tip. No extensions, chemicals and no dye. I have been retightening and grooming my Sisterlocks for 25 years and counting.  After taking the class, I was placed on the Sisterlocks Trainee list and was able to secure clients through their official website.  I later asked to be removed from the website when I opened my massage business.  I currently retighten only due to my work schedule at my spa.
